A week later I am happy (and very relieved) to report that Myka is back to her happy little self. It was a milk issue after all. I have switched her to a different formula (made of gold). I am sad to be finished with nursing, but it's time..... She seems very content with this new 'milk' and seems to be bulking up a bit! (At her 9-month check-up this past week she only weighed 16 lbs 9 oz.) Such a petite little Princess! Although, quite rowdy. Her Pediatrician even asked how I get her dressed and change her diaper. I replied, "It's a wrestling match."
It was also Carsen's 3-year-check-up. I must brag and say he "wowed" his Pediatrician with his skills and vocabulary. His latest thing is letter recognition. We will be driving down the road and he will say, "Hey look, there's a D" and he will point at the Home Depot sign. Last night as we were pulling into Costco he happily reported, "Costco has two O's......." He started Kindermusik on Wednesday's with his little buddy Bode. He was excited to have a backpack and told everyone he was in "Kindergarten." (not yet!)

Parker did Kindermusik in the summer and loved it! He still sings a lot of the songs they taught him. I'm so glad Myka is feeling better. You're kids could be twins. They look so much alike! Did you hear we're moving out kinda by you guys! Now we really can get the kids together to play!
Ohh, I am so glad that she is feeling better. I know how you feel about weaning, I weaned
Corban just after his 9 month appt. too so that he could pack in the calories with formula and gain more weight. She will look so cute with a little baby chub on her too!
Okay...now, didn't I say that he was a little genious....that little smarty pants is too cute and I'm sure Myka is also speaking in full sentences as well but your just too modest to say!!!! :o)
Ok how funny that your 9 month old only weighs 2 more pounds than my 3month old! We just make chubby babies! Good thing they are cute! We miss you guys, and need to somehow get together!
So whats kindermusic? Sounds like something Alivia would love.

I think I've been telling you for awhile that he is one smart kid! Between his high IQ and his sports abilities I think you're safe to spend his college money - I see "full ride scholarship" written all over his face!
Keysha! I wondered if you were going to add a comment board to your blog. I now need to get a blogger account... Your kids are darling, Myka has such big beautiful eyes, what a looker! Love ya! -Holly
So glad that Myka is feeling better!! She is getting cuter and cuter (is that even possible)??Carson is so cute too,and sounds like such a smart little man!
Yeah for Kindermusik! I am so happy for him. What a smart little boy.
Glad Myka is feeling better and keeping you on your toes.
Give them kisses from Auntie Kelly!
Carsen is one smart cookie! Yesterday in the nursery we were reading a Gospel ABC's book and he knew all of the letters AND their sounds.
I'm glad you found a solution to Myka's problem. A friend of mine had to have her daughter on the "gold" formula. Hopefully she will outgrow the milk allergy in a few months!
How funny, Kendra weighed 18 pounds at 6 1/2 months, her thighs are unbelievable. Myka really is a tiny little thing. I'm glad she's doing better. Tell me about Kindermusic?
