We have arrived at our first stop of the trip....Vegas. This is where it all begins. This is where we drop off the kiddies for a whole week with Pa and Gigi. (I have the best parents in the world! They are seriously excited to have these two kids for a whole week! All I can say is 'good luck.')
Honestly, I think it's going to be the most difficult on me.....I am going to miss my bestest little buddies. (There will be some tears shed tomorrow morning when I am bidding my sweeties good-bye).....I will have to stay focused on all the fabulous food, sights, company and sun....maybe then I will be able to take my mind off my kids!
We were planning on flying out tomorrow morning (Sunday)from Vegas, but we decided to cancel our plane tickets and drive instead. (It's not very far from Vegas and that way we won't have to sit around airports and wait for the shuttle to take us to the boat. Plus...we can sleep in tomorrow instead of having to be to the airport at 5:00 a.m. And when the boat docs on Sunday morning we can get right off, hop in the car and head for home instead of sitting at the airport until 1:30.....) We'll see how 'fabulous' our change of plans really turn out!

I hope you have a wonderful, safe, relaxing trip! Can't wait to hear all about it. You're kids will have a blast with their grandparents! That is better than any vacation to them, right!
Oh Keysha, I feel your pain. I hate leaving my kids too, I bawl my eyes out, but once I'm gone I always have a blast. Give yourself a day, and you'll be loving your freedom.

I'm dripping with jelousy! ... a friend of mine was just talking about trying to put together a couples cruise and it sounded like so much fun... I'm sure you'll have a blast!!! And at least you know your kids are in good hands! Have so much fun!!!

I hope you guys have a BLAST on your cruise!! It IS hard to leave the kids, but so nice to have a little break every now and then. . . enjoy it!! Can't wait to hear about it when you get back!!
