Day #12 I LOVE my naps! There is something about a mid-day nap that just 'does a body good.' I live for my naps. When my alarm goes off at 4:30 a.m. the first thing I think when I drag my body out of bed is, 'There will be a nap taking place later this afternoon. You can do it.' I LOVE the time of day when we have finished our lunch and the kids know what comes next. It's part of the routine, and I LOVE it! (I LOVE that my kids are good little sleepers and allow me to join in on the fun! I realize I could be doing more productive things with my nap time; but it's just a quick siesta to rejuvenate myself).
I have had my adorable niece and nephew since Sunday, and let's just say I have really been missing my naps!
My LOVE of naps will last forever, but I know the convenience of naps won't last too much longer--which is why I am going savor every pillow moment I can get!

I can't believe Carsen still naps?! But you totally deserve a nap everyday- you only get half a nights sleep. One of my loves was going to be sunday naps. :-)
AMEN, sista! I absolutely LOVE naps, too! I don't know how I would survive the day without them! (Oh and I don't crawl outta bed until 7am, so I can't even compare to you. You at least work out and deserve a nap. I'm just lazy!)
Ahh - I remember a good nap. Back when Greg was a baby and Graham would snuggle with me....now I just look forward all week long to a nice Sunday nap! You are so lucky (and I'm sure the solid routine really helps) that your kids both still nap! Enjoy the snooze - and no guilt about it!
Amen to that! I grew up taking naps and do the same with my children. Scottie naps with me everyday and can get the older two to nap on Sundays sometimes, if not, it's quiet time just so I can get mine. I just know Scottie is so much more pleasant to be around if he gets his nap!
OH my goodness, you are so lucky that your kids nap still. Paisley and Carter are not good nappers. However, if I got up that early I would insist on a nap so I don't turn into a mean bear. I have loved reading your "Love" things.

I love it that you take naps too! I think THAT is the perfect thing to do with your time while your kids nap. More power to ya! I wish I could fall asleep as fast as you do. Whenever Bella and Ethan are in school and Kaleb is napping I try to nap. But usually only get about 15 minutes into before he wakes up because it takes me so long to fall asleep.
